A look at the 1965 Chevy Corvette Stingray in Jay Leno’s Garage
Sleek, stunning, and powerful, the 1965 Corvette Stingray was potent and popular, and with a new available V-8 engine under the hood, a massive 425 horsepower, and standard four-wheel disc brakes, its performance was unparalleled for the price.
This 1960s generation of the coveted sports car was highly regarded, and with a new body, sharp fenders, and chiseled front end, it was well-suited for its “Stingray” nameplate. Recently, Jay Leno met with comedian Joe Rogan to get a closer look and a ride in his Corvette Stingray “Restomod” model, which was fully restored to its former beauty and then some, complete with a new interior, shining silver body and rims, and a supercharged LSI V-8 engine.
